Graduation Requirements

The following requirements must be met to receive a Radiography certificate of graduation from the Hurley School of Radiologic Technology:

  • Grade of 75% or better in all didactic courses
  • Grade of 80% or better for clinical competency course
  • Successful completion of required clinical time
  • Successful completion and documentation of all required clinical competencies
  • Second year students must attend graduation to receive their certificate
  • First year students are required to participate in the graduation process and ceremony
  • Graduates must hold a pre-existing Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree

OR

  • Successful completion of the Mott Community College Radiology Track requirements
  • Successful completion of the Hurley Medical Center Radiology Program requirements

Grading System

In order to maintain satisfactory Didactic Competency; each student must maintain an average of 75% or higher in each course. The following grading system is employed:

Didactic Grading Scale:

97% - 100% A+
93% - 96% A
90% - 92% A-
87% - 89% B+
83% - 86% B
80% - 82% B-
77% - 79% C+
75% - 76% C
74% or Below F

In order to maintain satisfactory Clinical Competency each student must obtain an overall Clinical Competency of 80% or better. The following grading system is employed:

94% - 100% A
87% - 93% B
80% - 86% C
79% - Below F
