What brought you to Michigan?
I came to Michigan in June 2016 to start my residency in Ob/Gyn.
Why did you choose your specialty?
During my Ob/Gyn rotation as a medical student, I was fascinated by the dynamics of this specialty. Surgery, medicine, radiology, oncology, outpatient, and more – under one roof. The privilege of being involved in Women’s Health and being part of some of the most precious moments in your patients’ lives is unparalleled.
What do you do for fun?
Travel! I always love seeing new places and meeting new people.
What do you like most about Hurley?
Hurley is home now! All the residents get along together and with the attending physicians really well. I love the working environment.
“Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.”
My biggest hobby is camping. I see the vast beautiful deserts in Egypt as my back yard! I love being outdoors. From sand to snow: a major change for me. I’m enjoying it and looking forward to exploring all the national parks and scenery around here in Michigan.
