What brought you here to Michigan?

I moved to Flint, Mich., when I was 17. The reason I came to Flint is family, and the reason I stayed is my community.

Why did you choose your specialty?

Doing OBGYN, I get to witness the miracle of birth every day, sharing some of the happiest moments with parents. This specialty also fulfills my passion for surgery. The combination of medicine and surgery are uniquely intertwined in OBGYN.

When you’re not working, what do you do for fun?

Workout (Crossfit sometimes)
