Pediatric Clinical Health Psychology

Fellowship Description

The Pediatric Clinical Health Psychology Fellowship at Hurley Medical Center is made possible by a partnership between Hurley and the Genesee Health System. The fellowship program accepts two fellows annually to participate in the 12-month experience and prepares fellows for a variety of high-demand, pediatric clinical health psychology positions. Graduating fellows leave having accomplished the following aims.

Program Aims

Upon successful program completion, fellows possess:

  • Advanced-practice clinical competency in Pediatric Clinical Health Psychology
  • The ability to assume a variety of roles within medical education
  • Expertise in hospital and/or ambulatory practice
  • The ability to make scholarly contributions to the field and adopt a commitment to lifelong learning

Accepting applications Oct. 1 annually

Applications are accepted from Oct. 1 each fall until both positions are filled. Interviews generally begin in mid-January. See Apply for information on minimum requirements and application instructions.
