To apply to the pediatric clinical health psychology fellowship program, applicants must meet the minimum entrance requirements before the Sept. 1 start date.

Minimum Requirements

  • Completion of doctoral studies at an APA- or CPA-accredited institution in clinical or counseling psychology (Note: if the doctoral degree in psychology is in an area of emphasis other than clinical or counseling psychology, the applicant must have completed re-specialization training in an accredited doctoral program.)
  • Completion of an APA- or CPA-accredited internship in clinical or counseling psychology, with a clinical emphasis on the child/adolescent population
  • A license to practice in the State of Michigan
  • A broad, general background in professional psychology

Highly Desirable

Evidence of pediatric psychology or child/adolescent clinical psychology experience in the following: Clinical health psychology, clinical activity in healthcare settings, teaching or medical education.
