Educational Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Define categories of pain and their causes
  • Identify evidence for chronic opioid treatment for chronic pain
  • Understand the interplay between pain and addiction, including treatment of pain and addiction
  • Ability to identify adjuvant options for pain management other than opioids
