Obstetrics & Gynecology Graduating Class of 2022

Where are you from originally?

I was born and raised in Royal Oak, Mich.

Medical training:

I graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in Anthropology and then went on to complete a post-baccalaureate program through Drexel University College of Medicine. Afterwards I went to complete medical school at American University of Caribbean in St. Maarten, with my clinical rotations in Long Island, NY, and in Santa Clara and Bakersfield, CA.

When did you come to Michigan?

I was born and raised in Royal Oak, Mich., but migrated with my family to the Silicon Valley in Northern California when I was 10 years old. I spent the majority of my adolescence in sunny California and returned to my home state of Michigan for residency training.

Why did you choose your specialty?

I chose ObGyn because I love working with women and being an advocate in their well-being and healthcare. Witnessing a baby being delivered during my 3rd-year medical school rotations was one of the most humbling and amazing experiences I've ever had, and I hope to always carry that feeling with me throughout my career.
