Why did you come to Michigan?

I wanted to stay close to my home state Indiana, and there are a lot of opportunities in Michigan.

Why did you choose your specialty?

I chose Anesthesiology because I enjoy the interrelation between pharmacology and physiology. The perioperative care that entails anesthesiology was really attractive to me. [Transitional Year is a required prerequisite for anesthesiology.]

Family:

My family is in Indiana. My parents, my husband, and Newfoundland puppy are all there!
