Three residents and one faculty member received congratulatory remarks and accolades June 6, 2025, during the graduation ceremony for Hurley’s four-year Combined Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Residency Program in the Abbott Education Center at Hurley Medical Center. Program Director Adiraj Singh MD presented the diplomas during the ceremony.

The 2025 graduates are:

• Srujan Edupuganti MD, Administrative Chief

• Akanksha Mohananey MD, Clinic QI Chief

  • Next step: Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Fellowship, Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital, Royal Oak, Mich.

• Irma Zamir MD, Wellness Chief

  • Next step: To be determined

In addition, the following awards were presented:

• Peer-nominated Laura Carravallah Professionalism Award: Srujan Adupuganti MD

• Resident-nominated Combined Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Teaching Award: Charles Swanson MD
