Congratulations to four Hurley Internal Medicine physicians whose article was published in Case Reports in Vascular Medicine in 2015.
Authors included second-year resident physician Raad A Haddad MD, recently graduated resident physician Mazin Saadaldin MD, former Hurley faculty physician Binay Kumar MD and Ghassan Bachuwa MD, MHSA, MS, who also is director of Hurley’s Internal Medicine Residency Training Program, which is affiliated with Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.
The paper, “Deep Vein Thrombosis Provoked by Inferior Vena Cava Agenesis,” describes a young healthy patient with a deep vein blood clot caused by a rare congenital anomaly.
