Sponsored by Hurley Medical Center and Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, the Hurley Pediatric Residency Program is seeking General Academic Pediatric Faculty candidates with strong interpersonal, team, leadership, and communication skills who also are tech-savvy and willing to work with an urban population. The candidate must be board-certified in pediatrics. This academic position involves teaching medical students and resident physicians and active participation as part of the faculty in Hurley’s Pediatric Residency Training Program.
The Hurley Children’s Clinic espouses a community-based and population-health philosophy with a unique prevention-focused location at the Flint Farmers Market. Applicants with additional background and training in public health are encouraged to apply. A faculty appointment is available with the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine at a rank commensurate with experience.
