Two Hurley trauma cases published in BMJ Case Reports

Hurley’s Trauma fellow and trauma faculty recently heard that two of their reports about interesting cases were published in a peer-reviewed journal.

Both “Spontaneous intraperitoneal rupture of a postpartum rectus sheath haematoma” and “Adult jejunojejunal intussusception in the face of jejunal adenocarcinoma: two infrequently encountered entities” appeared in the March 9, 2016, edition of BMJ Case Reports.

Authors include: current trauma research fellow Adel Elmoghrabi MD, as well as Trauma faculty members Mohamed Mohamed MD, Michael McCann DO, and Gul Sachwani-Daswani DO.

McCann, a Hurley Trauma Fellowship graduate, has been director of Hurley’s Trauma Fellowship Program since 2012. Both Mohamed and Sachwani-Daswani also are graduates of Hurley’s Trauma Fellowship Program in 2015 and 2014, respectively.
