Dr. Akinpeloye was well-liked and respected as a resident physician at Hurley, so the Hurley Ob-Gyn residency staff were happy when she agreed to return as a faculty member, where she continues to be well liked and respected by residents, faculty and staff. She stepped into the interim program director role on June 1, 2024, and dropped the "interim" from her title a year later.
