  • Medical degree: Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Ankara, Turkey

Where are you from originally?

Ankara, Turkey

When did you come to the U.S.?

I came to the US in 2019 to seek the best possible education in my residency to fulfill my career commitment.

Why did you choose your specialty?

Ob-gyn has the best of both worlds; it has surgical aspects, but you can also provide primary care. It's a diverse field that lets you do a lot. Every woman needs an ob-gyn in all stages of their lives, and you grow with your patients. It is very fulfilling to witness everything all throughout their womanhood. Last but not least, I really enjoy catching babies!

Family?
My parents live in Ankara, Turkey. In the U.S., I have one sister and a lovely niece. I keep in touch via Facetime.

When you're not working, what do you do for fun?

Trying new recipes, discovering new spots in the city, going to the theater, concerts or museums.
