James A. Cranford PhD may be one of the newest faculty members in the department, but he is not new to research.

This research scientist works part time at Hurley Medical Center, mentoring research teams and helping to design and analyze research studies. He also holds the same title at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where he works part time in the Addiction Center of the Department of Psychiatry, as well as in the Department of Emergency Medicine.

Scholarly Activity

Dr. Cranford has taught several undergraduate courses and mentors many students, including doctoral candidates for whom he serves on dissertation committees at the University of Michigan.
