Why did you stay in Michigan?
I've stayed in Michigan because I love the people, the changing weather, and the many things to do. In one weekend, you can hike outdoors, visit a world-class museum, and try a new restaurant. There are also so many little cities and towns to explore within a short drive.
What do you like most about working with residents, fellows and other learners?
Helping residents and fellows experience that research is feasible and fun!
Family
I'm married with a 4-year old and 6-year old. We also have 2 cats.
When you're not working, what do you do for fun?
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and reading. I recently started baking homemade sourdough bread and other baked goods.
What do you love about Hurley and/or the mid-Michigan area?
Hurley, and the greater Flint area, is like an extended family. People care about each other and are welcoming to those who are new to the area.
