Why stay or return to Michigan?
I grew up in Michigan and moved out of state for graduate school. I am thankful to be back in Michigan, closer to family and friends, and working for an amazing health system!
Why did you choose your specialty?
I have always enjoyed working with children, from a young age.
Family:
I am married to my husband, Orlando, and we have two children: Orlando "Landi" (3) and Karina (1).
When you’re not working, what do you do for fun?
We enjoy spending time outdoors, including camping, going to Lake Michigan, and traveling. I also love exploring new coffee shops.
Love most about Hurley:
The mission- I am excited to work with and for the city of Flint.
Favorite place:
My favorite place in the world is Traverse City, Mich. I love up-north Michigan in general, but Traverse City is like no-other. The wine, the beaches, and the food- it's all just too good!
