Where are you from originally?

A tiny town called Adair, Oklahoma.

Why did you come to Michigan?

I came to Michigan for residency and for the nature!

Why did you choose your specialty?

I have always been drawn to women's health throughout college and medical school - and after my first week in OB/GYN clerkship, I knew this was what I wanted to do the rest of my life. I enjoy the variety within the field, as we get to see women of all ages, and I love playing a role in educating patients.

Family:

All of my family lives in Adair, OK.

When you're not working, what do you do for fun?

I like to take road trips to national parks and camp! I also enjoy hanging out with friends while eating food and taking lots of bubble baths while watching Netflix.

About Hurley:

Everyone at Hurley has been so helpful. My co-residents are great too!
