What brought you to Michigan?
I came to the U.S. to pursue medical training that emphasizes evidence-based practice and provides many opportunities to grow as a person and as a physician.
Why did you choose your specialty?
I chose my specialty (Internal Medicine) because of strong emphasis on clinical reasoning and continuity of care. Figuring out ways to manage patients with multiple comorbidities makes me feel driven and motivated.
Family:
My family lives with me in Michigan, and their support has been an important part of my journey here.
When you're not working, what do you do for fun?
I like to spend time with my family and go for a walk in the park.
What do you like most about Hurley and Mid-Michigan so far?
Hurley is an amazing institution for training. I value the balance between autonomy and appropriate supervision while managing patients. I also appreciate the diverse patient population we serve here, which provides ample opportunity to learn.
What inspires you?
People with positive attitude towards life.
What do you miss most about home?
Food!
