Why did you choose your specialty?

I chose my specialty because I enjoy the challenge of uncovering underlying diseases—like a medical form of hide and seek—and using that knowledge to make a meaningful, positive impact in my patients’ lives. What excites me most is the opportunity to provide long-term, holistic care; building relationships that go beyond immediate illness; and supporting overall well-being.

When you're not working, what do you do for fun?

I love exploring new natural places and challenging myself with hikes—like the unforgettable trek in Sarpass, India. Adrenaline rushes excite me too; I recently tried bungee jumping, and scuba diving is next on my adventure list. So many more thrills to come!

What inspires you?

What inspires me most is my love for my family and my deep desire to see them healthy and happy. That same inspiration drives me to do everything I can for my patients, treating them with care and helping them live their healthiest and happiest lives alongside their families.

How have you overcome your toughest challenges?

Remembering my family; they are my strength.

What do you miss most about home - and how do you keep in touch with faily and friends there?

I miss the warm, family-and-friends time, delicious vegetarian food, and celebrating India Festivals.

What do you like most about working at Hurley?

What I love most about working at Hurley Medical Center is the dedication and support from both the residents and attending faculty. They are genuinely committed to teaching and actively involved in each resident’s professional growth. I appreciate how faculty and senior residents are always available to answer questions and provide guidance every step of the way during residency. This collaborative and nurturing environment truly enhances my training experience!!
