What brought you to Michigan?
The U.S. offers structured, high-quality residency training with strong mentorship, exposure to diverse patients, and a focus on evidence-based and patient-centered care. Why Michigan? Definitly the diverse patient population and supportive training environment. I felt that the programs here truly invest in resident education and wellness, which is very important to me.
Why did you choose your specialty?
I chose Pediatrics because I genuinely enjoy working with children and being part of their growth and development. Children are resilient, honest, and respond quickly to proper care, which makes the work very rewarding. I value the opportunity to build trust not only with the child but also with the family; to educate parents; and to focus on prevention and early intervention. Caring for children allows me to make a meaningful impact early in life, which can improve health outcomes long term.
Family
I came from family of 3 sisters and 1 brother.
When you're not working, what do you do for fun?
In my free time, I enjoy reading, going to the gym, exploring new places and restaurants with my friends, and playing soccer and tennis.
What inspires you?
I’m inspired by continuous learning and self-improvement. Medicine challenges me to grow every day, and that motivates me to push myself to provide the best possible care.
What do you miss most about home?
My family for sure. My mom, dad and all my sibilings. I stay in touch by trying to make video calls whenever I'm free.
