What brought you to the U.S. and to Michigan?
I came to Michigan in June 2021 to work with the Pediatric Public Health Initiative following the Flint water crisis. (The PPHI is a joint initiative between Hurley Children's Hospital and Michigan State University.)
Why did you choose your specialty?
Broad spectrum of cases, in terms of diagnoses and age groups. Variable available fields and career styles in the future. The med-peds program at Hurley has its own structure and administration separate from the IM and the pediatric programs.
When you're not working, what do you do for fun?
Play soccer, hike, and swim
What do you like about Hurley?
Hurley has a diverse patient population, and the culture of diversity is appreciated.
