Why did you choose your specialty?

I chose Trauma Research Fellowship as it aligns with my future goals of becoming an academic surgeon. The opportunity to engage in research and deepen my understanding of the complexities of trauma motivated me to contribute new insights. It will also enable me to make meaningful contributions to the advancement of surgical education.

When you're not working, what do you do for fun?

I love reading personality development books and doing yoga, and if I'm home, I'm probably watching The Office or Friends.

What do you like most so far about Hurley and/or the mid-Michigan area?

The people and the work environment. I'm really grateful for how warm and kind everyone here has been.

Inspiration?

I'm inspired by the resilience of people who overcome difficult challenges and how people bounce back from adversity - it drives my desire to make a positive impact.

What do you miss most about home?

My family, friends & desi street food. I call my parents everyday!
