Early work experience include working as a direct support professional for a foundation that helps individuals with developmental disabilities; tutoring in STEM and English subjects, working as a research assistant related to the binding of small molecules to telomeric DNA for targeted singlet oxygen production, interning with a cardiologist, and cashiering at a pharmacy.

    • Co-Investigator - OUWB SOM, Rochester, Mich., and Cardiac Rehabilitation Center, Royal Oak, Mich. Chair exercise program for those unable to use treadmill-based exercise programs (to reduce risk of cardiovascular events)
    • Principle Investigator - OUWB SOM, Rochester, Mich., and Geriatrics, Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. Retrospective study on adverse effects of acetylcholinesterase inhibitors in Alzheimer's patients, specifically syncope and hip-fracture rates.
