Where are you from originally?

I am originally from Lebanon, of Armenian descent.

Medical training:

Medical school: American University of Beirut, Beirut, Lebanon

How did you end up in Michigan?

I came to the US in 2017 for postdoc research scientist position in New York and then moved to Michigan for OBGYN residency.

Why did you choose your specialty?

Pregnancy is considered a unique event in a woman's life. I want to be part of this important life-changing event and take care of mothers to be.

Family

My parents live in Beirut, Lebanon. One of my siblings is in Germany, and the other one is in the U.S.

When you're not working, what do you do for fun?

Exercise, go out with friends, kayak, watch TV

What do you miss most about home?

I miss the neighborhood in New Jersey/New York areas and the abundance of choices and opportunities of things to do.

Favorite beach?

I love the beaches in Jersey shore.
