    Why brought you to Michigan?

I moved to Michigan in July 2022 from Illinois, where I completed my pre-doctoral internship. Michigan was one of my desired places to live, given that I have family who live relatively close by.

Why did you choose your specialty?

I chose neuropsychology because I am fascinated by the brain and have a strong interest in the treatment of TBI and neurodegenerative disorders.

    Family?

My family is spread out accross the country. My mom and sister live in Arizona, one of my brothers lives in Colorado, and my other brother and my dad live in Ohio. I have a dog, a boxer, named Molli, who is so much fun and a big ball of energy.

When you’re not working, what do you do for fun?

I enjoy hiking, taking my dog for walks, reading, DIY crafts, and spending time with family and friends.

    What inspires you?

My patients. I really enjoy working with patients, and simply knowing that I made a difference in their lives or helped them in some way is the best inpiration.

What do you miss most about home?

I miss the warm weather and the smooth roads. I am getting acclimated to the colder temperatures, but the pot holes are rough (haha). That is one thing Phoenix, Arizona, does not have a lot of.

      Favorite film?

      Forrest Gump

      Favorite quotation?

Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.

      ~Babe Ruth

I like this quote because it inspires me to keep trying, no matter how difficult something is or how many times I may fail.
