Emergency Medicine
If you're a Hurley resident, you most likely will be assigned to one or more rotations in Emergency Medicine at Hurley Medical Center, where University of Michigan physicians operate the Emergency Department. Meet the Hurley EM faculty here.
Hurley Medical Center also serves as a training site for the four-year Emergency Medicine residency program jointly sponsored by the University of Michigan and St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. From our Level I Trauma Center, rotations at Hurley offer residents critical exposure to front-line emergency medicine and an opportunity to serve one of the most diverse patient populations in the country.
In addition to Hurley residents rotating in the ED, our Emergency Medicine Program also provides rotations to residents to visiting residents from other institutions.
