Emergency Medicine

Hurley Medical Center serves as a training site for the four-year Emergency Medicine residency program jointly sponsored by the University of Michigan and St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. From our Level I Trauma Center, rotations at Hurley offer residents critical exposure to front-line emergency medicine and an opportunity to serve one of the most diverse patient populations in the country.

In addition, our Emergency Medicine Program offers rotations to residents in other specialties from within Hurley, as well as visiting residents from other institutions.
