Obstetrics & Gynecology PGY2 Categorical Resident Position

The Hurley Medical Center/Michigan State University OBGYN residency program in Flint, Mich., is looking to fill a PGY2 categorical resident position for the 2025-26 academic year. To be eligible for this position, applicants must be in good academic and professional standing at an ACGME-accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology Categorical Residency Program, and must have successfully completed one year (12 months) of training.

  • USMLE Scores Step 1, 2 and 3 (if available)
  • In-Service Training Exam Scores (from current program for PGY-1 year)
  • Previous ERAS application
  • Cover letter to include reason for departure from current program
  • Letter of Good Standing from your Program Director
  • List of Completed Rotations to Date. (On Letterhead from your Program Director)
  • Most recent semi-annual summary
  • Most recent Milestone Evaluations from Current Residency Program for 2024-2025 academic year
  • A letter of recommendation from a current supervising faculty member
  • Current CV
  • Copy of Medical School Diploma
  • ECFMG Certificate (Foreign graduates only)
  • Up-to-date ACGME Procedure Logs from Current Program
  • Current work authorization i.e. Citizen, permanent resident, work permit, or visa

Notes:

  • J1 VISA applicants are welcome.
  • Hurley Medical Center does not sponsor H1B visas.
